Almost complete!
Well, after almost two weeks the website is almost completely finished! It has already gone through at least one re-design ... and who knows if there's another one coming soon?! The only page we have left to come up with content for is the fashion page. Preteen fashion is such a "touchy" subject ... and it's hard for us to decide just "which" content we should or should not include. Modest is best, of course ... but how can we put this across to the readers in a pleasing way? I think my mom is still praying about that part! It's been two days and the page is still blank? I'm sure God will answer her soon enough! :)

The site does have some great stuff on it already though! In fact, we just posted our first contest! We are giving away a Testament Tween shirt! You can enter daily on the site and the winner will be notified on April 17th! Make sure you sign up!

Also, we have 6 people registered on the forums so far! Go sign up and tell your friends! We need to get this online forum going! I can't wait to make some more friends online!

Finally, I sadly have not yet got to write the review on the next book my mom was wanting me to! My brother, sisters and I have caught a bit of "spring fever" ... so we spend as little time inside as possible. Basically we come in for school work and food! :) You know ... the "necessities!" I'll get to it soon though!

Well, here's hoping all is well for you!

Here we go ...
Ok, so I'm not sure if I'm gonna like writing this blog or not. I think my mom is really using it as an excuse to make me practice my writing skills, but covering it up by saying it's good for the website.

I am excited about the new site though! A cool new website just for preteen Christian girls! I can't wait to make some friends on the forums. I love the shirts. They were the first things we came up with. Hopefully after my mom is done building the website she'll have some time to design some new shirts. I'm still learning how to use Photoshop, but maybe I'll come up with my own designs!

Well, my first assignment from my mom was to write a book review on Bridge to Terabithia. This was our last "assigned reading" from my mom, but I'm glad we had to read it. It's an awesome story about friendships. Jess Aarons and Leslie Oliver share an incredible friendship that leads them into a magical forest filled with lots of different adventures. My mom and brother were both crying by the end of the book! We were supposed to go see the movie, but haven't made it there yet. Plus, it's written by a Christian author, Katherine Paterson. It seems we always have something going on during the weekends, and we need a sitter for my little sisters because they are too young to watch it (because of all the imaginary creatures ... they might get scared). Anyways ... I can't wait to see it though because it has Josh Hutcherson in it!!

Ok, maybe my mom will let me get away with this much for now! I'll write more when I get a new "assignment" or have a fresh idea to write about!
